These are the Missiles North Korea Built to Kill AMERICANS inside the USA

North Korea put its adversaries on notice Saturday, when it showed off a bevy of new missiles and launchers at its annual military parade.

Pyongyang showed off two new intercontinental ballistic missile-sized canisters as well as displaying its submarine-launched ballistic missile and a land-based version of the same for the first time, according to analysts.

If North Korea has ICBMs, it could give it the ability to strike targets in the mainland US and Europe. The shorter range ballistic missiles displayed Saturday, meanwhile, are a threat to countries in the Asian region.

North Korea's display comes as tensions on the Korean Peninsula have spiked to alarming levels.

The US Navy dispatched the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson strike group to the region last weekend, and US President Donald Trump has been tweeting this week that if China can't rein in North Korea's nuclear program the US will.

"The Vinson was sent out to make a statement. North Korea responded by showing off the most new missile hardware we've ever seen in a parade before," said Melissa Hanham, senior research associate at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies in California.

One of the biggest surprises of Saturday's military parade in Pyongyang was two mobile canisters that could contain ICBMs larger than anything North Korea has ever produced.

"They both probably design concepts. We've never seen them in the wild," Hanham said.

"We don't know what -- if anything -- was inside the canisters since North Korea hasn't publicly shown off or tested any missile of that size before," analyst Ankit Panda wrote on The Diplomat.

"We can infer given the size of the canister and the fact that it was paraded on Saturday that Pyongyang wants the world to know that it is actively working toward at least two types of solid-fuel, canisterized ICBMs," Panda wrote.

The fact that any new ICBM would be in a canister is important because it means those missiles would likely be solid-fueled, analysts said.

Solid-fueled missiles can be deployed faster and hidden better from satellite detection than their liquid-fueled counterparts.

And the large size also means the missiles could have a longer range.

She took special note of the launcher the KN-15 was on.

"It uses caterpillar treads which means it can go off road more easily, which means they can hide them more easily," Hanham said.

North Korea has under 500 miles of paved roads, Panda wrote, and previous wheeled-launchers could risk damage to the missile operating off those.

Hanham said the tracked launch vehicles were made in North Korea, which means Pyongyang did not have to break sanctions imposed by China to obtain them.

Despite all the displays on Saturday, analysts cautioned against overreaction, noting that North Korea's missile tests have had a checkered record of success, and adding that a missile in a parade does not necessarily mean it's operational.

One thing is clear: These missiles have been built for the expressed purpose of KILLING AMERICANS INSIDE THE UNITED STATES.

@ Cruz ... oh c'mon, not that fairytale about dead babies in Syria due to the sarin attack. Ever read about sarin? If you breath sarin in or touch a victim of sarin attack you are gone ... those White helmets guys were touching everyone without any protective gear, no gloves, nothing. Tough guys, aren't they?

That was 100 % false flag just 1) to help to your "moderate" terror groups, 2) to discredit Assad even more, 3) to make Russia look like bad guys for helping Assad, 4) to have a reason to strike Syria, 5) to feed something to public to make them care less of civil victims of your airstrikes in Mosul/Iraq, 6) etc.

Are you serious about the Israel thing? Geez, you really need to do some research.

@ EX US FAN & MICHAEL BRABANT - Regarding Syria...tell that to the parents of the dead babies (it's a "moral" thing. Don't worry, you'll catch on eventually) - Regarding Israel, India, Pakistan...one skirmish at a time. Unfortunately for FatBoy in North Korea, he's the one at the moment giving the world every reason to hate him (**Including his strongest ally, China**). I have no doubts if India, Israel & Pakistan were loudmouth, wannabe bullies like FatBoy, openly threatening to kill Americans and their allies publicly every second day of the week, the U.S's response would be the same. Today, FatBoy has brought it on himself. His threats and belligerent attitude renders him deserving of nothing less than complete and total obliteration. As for the rest...my previous comments apply.

Oh I see, Cruz. So, it's okay for Israel, India and Pakistan to have nukes, but not sign the Non-proliferation treaty, yet nothing is done about them.

    Gee I wonder why....

@ HOPE SPRINGS - Of course he can protect his country but he MUST do it like everyone else - legally according to International Law, not illegally as he is doing; and NOT in the manner of a schoolboy loudmouth, saying "We're going to nuke you!"..."we're going to nuke you!" for what? the last 18 months? 2 years? He's a wannabe bully with a loudmouth operating illegally in relation to International Laws pertaining to nuclear weapons who, through his belligerence and arrogance is CLEARLY asking for a "smack in the mouth"; clearly deserving of being militarily castrated. HIS OWN MAJOR ALLY, CHINA, has expressed their frustration at his attitude. WAKE UP Hope Springs. Or grow up!

So anything wrong if Kim is protecting his country?
Or is only the US allowed to test and possess ICBM's.
